Merino Wool Yarn is made from the fleece of the merino wool sheep. Merino's well known for their incredibly soft coats, and in turn, produce the most amazing of fleeces, and even more amazing yarns for knitting. Fine fibers make Merino wool feel soft and luxuriously gentle next to your skin. Merino is hypoallergenic material.
Big Plaids are made from wool which comes from small family farms. Wool is cut from sheep, that is, sheep keep running happy in the meadow.
