I spent a long time looking for this yarn in Ukraine and finally found it — but there were only 10 colors available. When I gave it to her, the effect and emotions were incredible! She created such beautiful things that I realized: this material brings real joy and happy moments.

That’s how the idea was born.

In 2016 I opened a small yarn store called YARN of UKRAINE on Etsy. The response from craft lovers in Europe and the USA was overwhelming. One day I sold 50 kg of yarn — for me at that time it felt like a miracle.

Gradually, not only the yarn became popular, but also the finished products: cozy knitted blankets, life-size decorative flowers, hemp bed linen, plush toys and other handmade items. My girlfriend’s talent gave the business a new boost, and soon the store grew into FuzzyRoom — a place where naturalness, quality and fashionable handmade items come together.

Why the cat with yarn in our logo?

Because I have 7 wonderful cats at home. They have been my loyal assistants (and sometimes playful helpers) throughout this journey. I couldn’t help but thank them in this way.

Today FuzzyRoom is a small friendly team of masters and designers who create unique items with soul. We combine different materials — giant yarn, isolon, crepe paper, natural hemp fabric and much more — to make your celebrations, homes and everyday life brighter and cozier.

From a tiny home workshop where only my girlfriend and I worked, we have grown into a company that ships to more than 190 countries worldwide. Every client for me is not just a buyer, but already a friend. I personally answer messages, listen to wishes and always try to help.
